Important: data deletion is irreversible

Once your data is removed it cannot be restored. Make sure you really want to delete your account and all associated data.

Your right to delete data

Under GDPR as well as the requirements of social platforms such as Facebook, you can request deletion of your personal data from our service.

This right, also known as the “right to be forgotten”, allows you to request deletion of personal data when it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected.

Which data will be deleted?

Once we receive your request, we will delete the following information:

  • Account data: email address, name, profile picture
  • Login data: session and authentication details
  • Preferences: notification and personalization settings
  • Activity: browsing history (where applicable)
  • Technical data: identifiers linked to your account

What will be retained?

For legal and security reasons some data may be stored for a limited time:

  • System logs: anonymized technical data (up to 12 months)
  • Legally required data: information we must keep as required by law
  • Aggregated data: anonymized statistics with no personal identifiers

How to delete your data?

Option 1: Automatic deletion (logged-in users)

Log in to your account

Open account settings (user menu → Settings)

Find the “Delete account” section

Confirm the deletion

Note: This feature is coming soon. Until then please use option 2.

Option 2: Request via email

Send an email to [email protected]

Subject: “Personal data deletion request”

Include the following details in the message:

  • Email address associated with the account
  • Name and surname (if provided)
  • Confirmation that you want all data removed

Option 3: Remove external logins

If you signed in with Google or Facebook:

Google:Go toGoogle Account Permissionsand remove access for SpoolFinder

Facebook: Open Settings → Apps and Websites, find SpoolFinder and remove it

Note: This removes only the external connection. To delete data from SpoolFinder, use option 1 or 2.

Processing time

Your deletion request will be processed within the following time frames:

  • Automatic deletion: immediately after confirmation
  • Email request: within 30 business days from receipt
  • Confirmation: you will receive an email once data removal is complete

Frequently asked questions

Can I restore my data after deletion?

No. Data deletion is permanent. Once deleted, your account and data cannot be restored.

Is there a fee for deletion?

No, deleting your personal data is completely free.

What if I no longer remember my email?

Contact us at [email protected] and provide any information you still have about the account. We will help you identify and delete the data.

Will data be removed from backups?

Yes, data is also removed from all backups within 90 days.
